The Mara is a charming Austrian chalet, which
has proved an established favourite with Esprit summer guests. Warm and welcoming, it is set in an ideal location on a quiet side road close to the village centre. more....
Especially refurbished for Esprit guests over recent seasons, the Mara offers comfortable, traditionally styled accommodation throughout, with stylish, well-appointed bedrooms and modern fitted bathrooms. The bright and airy dining-room, overlooking the back garden, sets the scene for our tasty and convivial chalet dining, and there is a separate lounge with TV and a fridge for guest use.
The garden is a delight, with sensational views up to the snow-capped Kitzsteinhorn, and opposite the chalet is a volleyball and sports area when youngsters want more space! The balconies and large terrace also provide a welcome opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and the scenery.
There is ample parking for six cars, and also a lockable storage room for bikes, should you be either bringing your own or renting locally.

With so much to do, that even the most active family will relish the seemingly endless choice and variety, whilst those in search of relaxation will find the fresh air, pristine environment and specatacular scenery a tonic.

Between the mountains on one side and the lake on the other, there is a wealth of choice here which few resorts can match. The lake offers pleasure-boat cruises, electric and rowing-boat hire, water-skiing, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing, fishing, and there are public beaches for swimming. Local rivers add rafting, canoeing and canyoning, and the Optimum Leisure Centre in the heart of the village has superb indoor and outdoor pools (FREE entrance for Esprit guests) a water-slide and mini-golf.
Skiing and snowboarding (best in the mornings) are available with or without instruction and children will not want to miss the fantastic 'Cool & Easy' snow-fun activities on the Kitzsteinhorn. And finally, there is also tennis, squash, and the magnificent 18-hole golf course in the valley between Kaprun and Zell.
