Nursery, Alpies Club & Cocoa Club are all based in the Sapinière, as are Teen Rangers on selected dates.
One of Chamonix’s best known hotels, the Sapinière is ideal for its role as an Esprit Chalet Hotel. It is situated in a quiet but convenient location, only 2-3 minutes walk from all that the resort centre has to offer.
The hotel’s dining room has big semi-circular bay windows, with the most stunning views of Mont Blanc, as you can see from our picture on the right. Here we will titillate your taste buds with our delicious evening meals! The menu choices are complemented by FREE wine during adult-only evening meals. Children’s high tea is served at 5.30pm and includes free soft drinks.
The comfy, elegant lounge has a full service bar, ideal for a pre-dinner cocktail, or relaxing over coffee after dinner.
The terrace is a veritable sun-trap, and a more breathtaking spot to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, while Mont Blanc turns pink in the late evening sunshine, would be hard to find.
All bedrooms in the hotel are well appointed, combining tradition and comfort, with en suite private bath and wc, and many have south-facing balconies with Mont Blanc views.

Attractions and Activities
Chamonix is a major recreational centre, boasting an excellent indoor swimming-pool, an ice rink, a 10-pin bowling alley, pony trekking, an adventure park and, probably the single most popular activity amongst all our guests, child and adult alike - the summer toboggan run.
A visit not to be missed is a ride with the rack and pinion train to the famous glacier, the Mer de Glace, where ice grottos and sculptures, a little natural history museum and a rock crystal gallery are guaranteed to enthral and capture the imagination. The ‘Global Mer de Glace’ ticket covers the train ride and entrance fees, and costs approximately £19.50 per adult and £16 for children aged 4-15 years. Around & About
Chamonix is ideally located for day trips into Italy via the Mont Blanc tunnel or into Switzerland, up winding mountain roads with dramatic picture postcard views. There is a scenic train ride through the mountains and over the passes to Martigny in Switzerland. This old town boasts a Roman amphitheatre, a car museum and many other exhibitions.
Geneva, with all its lakeside attractions and international shops is only an hour away. Chambéry, south of Chamonix, is home to Parc Walibi, a large theme park with plenty of family friendly attractions, stomach-churning rides and a waterpark, complete with the requisite slides and chutes!
