Seven days, and seven unforgettable adventures for families to enjoy together, from rock-climbing to quad-biking, from river-rafting to flying high by tandem paraglider – our ‘Seven Wonders’ week has it all!
Saturday
Arrival day, and a chance to settle in and meet your fellow guests.
Sunday
We start this morning fairly gently, with our ‘Esprit Welcome Wander’, when your Esprit Adventure Leader will show you the village’s amenities and help you get your bearings for the week, before stopping for a picnic lunch.
This afternoon the pace picks up, as we enjoy Belle Plagne’s special quad-bike circuit, just a short walk from the resort centre. All the safety gear and full instructions are included of course, and there’s a mini-circuit to get used to the bikes before venturing out on to the exciting main track!

Fans of paragliding will tell you there is, quite simply, no better way to experience the sheer majesty, tranquillity and splendour of the Alps than from the air! No experience is required, as experienced pilots fly tandem with you, but the sheer thrill of take-off and soaring effortlessly above timelessly spectacular scenery will stay with you forever.
In the afternoon we are back down to earth - or to water to be precise, as we sample kayaking at the ‘Base de Loisirs’ about 20 minutes’ drive from Belle Plagne. Again, all equipment and instruction is provided, and no experience is needed - just a thirst for adventure and the fun of trying something new.
Tuesday
A free day to relax or a chance to pack in even more adventures - it’s up to you! Opportunities locally include archery, horse-riding, mini-golf and bungee-jumping, plus your Chalet Hotel’s own excellent leisure facilities.
This evening is your Chalet Hotel team’s one night off, so enjoy a local mountain speciality dinner in one of Belle Plagne’s choice of village restaurants.
Wednesday
There are two excellent rock-climbing faces within around ten minutes walk of our Chalet Hotel, and this morning we have the chance to get fully kitted out to tackle these, in the company of an experienced instructor of course, and test our climbing skills to the full!
The afternoon sees us taking on the challenge of the Vallon de l’Ours Forest Adventure Course – a wonderful mixture of rope slides and swings, nets and bridges, absolutely ideal for all the family to enjoy, and for youngsters to show their parents how it’s done!
Thursday
Today we head off on foot into the spectacular mountain scenery surrounding Belle Plagne village, for a full day’s wildlife-spotting hike in search of the region’s wildlife and nature stars!
Keep an eye and an ear out for whistling marmots, the elusive chamois, soaring eagles, and our favourite Alpine flowers, the edelweiss and gentian, while we work up an appetite for our leisurely picnic lunch.
Friday
Our last full day together demands a big finish, and they don’t come any bigger or more exciting than white water rafting! We meet our guide and get fully kitted out before setting off down river for a fitting highlight to end the week.
The afternoon is then free for you to enjoy at leisure. We suggest having a look at Aime, the local market town, ideal for the odd souvenir, a bit of French ambience at a pavement café, and a traditional Savoyarde lunch of course!
Saturday
Time to head for home, or perhaps for a second week of adventures in another of our superb summer resorts - the choice is yours!
